2nd Annual Are You Dense Day at the Capitol in Hartford CT - Honoring Connecticut's achievements in Density Reporting and Education

Governor Dannel Malloy proclaims October 30th as Are You Dense Day at the Capitol with a State Proclamation.

Ann Gallagan Kelley, Rhode Island Advocate & Breast Cancer Survivor,whose 8 CM invasive tumor invisible by mammogram for years led her to advocate for Rhode Island women, with dense breast tissue, to have access to an EARLY diagnosis. Rhode Island's density reporting legislation was enacted in 2014.

 

Dr. Nicole Saphier, Arizona Advocate and Radiologist, worked with the AZ Dream Team to introduce and pass density reporting legislation.  Arizona's density reporting legislation was enacted in 2014.
